The summer tradition of free music on the Hiawassee Town Square continues at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday, July 4 with the Loaded Dice Band taking the stage.
Loaded Dice Band is a classic country/rock band from north Georgia. For 3 years they have brought together love for everything from Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, to Linda Ronstadt and Fleetwood Mac. They always have something for music lovers.
Every Saturday at 6:30 p.m. a different musical act will entertain locals and visitors alike at the Hiawassee Town Square. Come early to get a hotdog from the VFW Auxiliary Food Truck. The concert is free. Donations appreciated. In the event of rain at concert time, concerts in May and June will be cancelled; concerts in July onward will be moved into the Towns County Civic Center. You can check the Hiawassee Downtown Development Authority Facebook page for weather updates.
