Board made poor decision regarding masks

Political wimpism is the making of decisions that will hack off the smallest percentage of constituents. Political courage is the making of decisions based on the welfare of constituents irrespective of momentary popularity of the decision. The superintendent and the school board have shown a lack of courage in flaunting the advice of state officials regarding protection from COVID in schools. The victims of their decision will not only be the school children, but also the people in their homes, friends, relatives and all the unfortunate people with which they come into contact.

Eventually the penalty of political wimpism will come down on the heads of businesses and the community will pay for the unnecessarily increased medical costs. When fewer go to theaters, restaurants and when the first person dies, I want the finger to be pointing at wimps. Gambling against the odds with the health of our children is wrong.
