Erlanger welcomes board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner Grace Metzger, MSN, NP-C, to Erlanger Primary Care – Andrews.
Metzger is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner who grew up in the Hayesville area. She obtained an associates degree in nursing from Tri-County Community College in Murphy and moved to Chattanooga, Tenn., where she began her first nursing job in the cardiac unit of Erlanger Baroness Hospital.
Following her time at Erlanger, Metzger continued her education at Western Carolina University, earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She then went on to earn a Master of Science in family medicine nursing from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn.
Metzger has once again joined the Erlanger team – this time closer to home.
“We are thrilled that Grace has joined the Erlanger family again,” said Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital Chief of Staff Dr. Thomas Clayton. “Grace has a true passion for rural healthcare and we expect she will be the perfect addition to Erlanger Primary Care – Andrews.”
