Local families and visitors can enjoy all of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in Hayesville with special offerings from restaurants and businesses downtown and around Clay County.
Those who have shopped on the “Black Friday” weekend in big cities can enjoy good person to person service from our locally owned family businesses.
There will be selections galore during the annual downtown “Made in the Mountains, Black Friday” event at 25 Herbert Street in the Historic Clay County Courthouse/Beal Center. Area artisans will be featured from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28 from with unique gift needs.
Many participating retail locations will feature free tickets for chances to win one of the holiday gift baskets from Historic Hayesville Inc. beginning on Friday, Nov. 28 and continuing through Dec. 13 when drawing for winners will be held during the downtown Hayesville Christmas Parade.
The HHI Centennial Exhibit at 116 Sanderson Street will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. pm Friday and Saturday Nov. 28 and 29 to pick up free shopping totes filled with local offers (while supplies last) and information for holiday shopping along with additional tickets to win one of the baskets on display.
Complete the shopping day on Saturday, Nov. 29 with great food and attend the Songwriters Circle Concert live at 7 p.m. inside the Beal Center. Tickets are available at: PayPal@historichayesvilleinc.com, Tiger's Store on the square and the HHI Centennial Exhibit until 3 p.m. or after 6 p.m. at the Beal Center.
