Enotah Judicial Circuit Superior Court Chief Judge Joy Parks issued an arrest warrant for Towns County Sheriff Ken Henderson who has turned himself in and bonded out.
The warrant was signed Tuesday morning based on Henderson’s indictment by a Towns County grand jury on Monday evening, according to the Towns County Herald.
Henderson turned himself in for booking at the Towns County Jail. He was assigned an “own recognizance” bond, meaning he will be released immediately after signing his paperwork.
Henderson has been indicted on seven criminal counts related to the Dec. 13, 2024, incident in which he placed Hiawassee Police Officer Jose Carvajal under arrest at the shooting scene of former TCSO Deputy Austin Bradburn.
