Big news is sprouting at the Clay County Farmers Market this season. Market hours are now growing longer.
Thanks to feedback from both loyal shoppers and dedicated vendors, the market has extended its hours and will now run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Thursday on the historic Hayesville Town Square. The extended hours make it easier for residents to swing by during their lunch breaks to shop for fresh, local goods.
Whether you’re after homemade baked treats, sweet local honey, garden-ready plants or unique locally sourced items, the market has something for everyone. With the growing season underway, fresh produce and eggs are also starting to roll in, so there’s no better time to support your local farmers and makers.
The Clay County Farmers Market is made possible through the support of N.C. Cooperative Extension-Clay County Center; Clay County Government and Babe’s Corner Store.
