“Clay County Health Department is pleased to announce the availability of two new laboratory tests that can now be accessed without a provider’s order. As part of ongoing efforts to improve access to preventive health services, residents can now walk in and request testing for Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 levels.

These essential tests are often used to identify nutritional deficiencies that can impact energy levels, bone health, immune function and overall wellness.

Pricing for the new lab tests is as follows:

• Vitamin D Test: $38.00

• Vitamin B12 Test: $16.20

These new offerings are available in addition to other self-requested lab services, including the Executive Panel, a comprehensive test that provides valuable insights into your overall health. All testing is performed through LabCorp, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

“We are committed to making health services more accessible and convenient for our community,” said Christina Bradley from the Clay County Health Department. “These walk-in lab tests empower individuals to take a proactive approach to their health without the need for a provider’s order.”

Clients can visit the Clay County Health Department for lab services during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
