The Clay County Historical & Arts Council Old Jail Museum at 21 Davis Loop will be the site for a silent auction Saturday, Sept. 21. This annual event features handcrafted items donated by vendors at the Festival on the Square held in July.

Bidders will have the opportunity to take home quality items for a great price. Bidding starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. Those not present when bidding ends will receive a phone call to arrange for pick-up of their item.

This event coincides with the annual Cherokee Festival sponsored by Clay County Communities Revitalization Association and below the museum.

Come out, bring a friend, enjoy these special events and support these two nonprofit organizations in their efforts to provide enriching experiences for the schools and community.
