The Hayesville High School Lady Jacket volleyball team delivered an excellent performance on Thursday, Sept. 4 securing a win against Rosman High School. The match, played on Hayesville's home court, was marked by strategic plays and impressive teamwork.
The Lady Jackets came out strong, setting the tone early with powerful serves and well-coordinated attacks. The team's front row dominated at the net, executing precise blocks and powerful spikes that kept Rosman's defense on its toes.
The back row showed exceptional agility, ensuring few balls hit the floor. The leading attackers for Hayesville were Ava Shook, who recorded 12 attacks, Graesyn Williamson with nine, Olivia Giddens with seven, Kayla Brown with four, Savannah Burch with three and Jasmine Brooks with two.
In the end, the Lady Jackets won the first set 25-19; the second 25-17 and the third set 25-23.
On Thursday Hayesville will play an away game in Robbinsville.
