Luke Barrett took first place and Joe Davenport won the big fish with a 3.69 pound spot in the local bass tournament.
The top finishers in the Hiawassee River Bass Club for September 2023 are as follows:
• First - Luke Barrett - five fish - 15.48 pounds.
• Second - Butch Hooper - five fish - 14.69 pounds.
• Third - Joe Davenport - five fish - 13.89 pounds.
• Fourth - Luke Morrow - five fish - 13.67 pounds.
• Fifth - Tim Davenport - five fish - 10.23 pounds.
• Sixth - Randy Cook - four fish - 9.76 pounds.
The tournament “Big Fish” was a 3.69 pound spot caught by Joe Davenport.
