Butch Hooper took first place and the big fish with a 4.88 pound spot in the Hiawassee River Bass Club's March tournament on Lake Lanier. Here's how Hooper and the other anglers fared:
• First place - Butch Hooper - five fish - 18.94 pounds.
• Second place - Dean Tucker - five fish - 18.83 pounds.
• Third place - Jimmy Anderson - five fish - 16.36 pounds.
• Fourth place - Barry Hoffman- five fish - 16.34 pounds.
• Fifth place - Josh Cook - five fish - 15.87 pounds.
• Sixth place - Joe Davenport - five fish - 15.85 pounds.
