The Chatuge Shores Men’s Golf Association announces the start of their 2024 summer season began April 1 and runs through Thursday, Oct. 31. Their winter season which runs from November through March is just wrapping up. If you missed it, you missed some very nice golf days. Here’s your chance to catch up.
The group plays at 8:30 a.m. every Monday and Wednesday morning, weather permitting, meeting at the Chatuge Shores Golf Course. They welcome any level of golfer to join them, who enjoys a lot of fun and friendship along with handicapped golf competition.
Current members consist of part time and year round residents, have handicaps ranging from a 4 to a 25 and are from the local surrounding areas of Clay, Cherokee, Towns and Union counties.
Membership dues are $30 per year which include a luncheon at the end of the season. Establishing a handicap is required and they can assist you with that process.
If you have an interest in our group contact Steve Hackley at (706) 994-7660 or secretary/treasurer Richard Purdy at (303) 909-1090 for details. Y’all come and join us for some summer fun.
