Hayesville Middle School cross country runners traveled to Hiwassee Dam for a meet at Fields of the Woods on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Both the boys’ and girls’ teams had solid performances on a difficult course.
The girls’ team took the top prize with a win and the boys’ team had a podium finish of third.
Girls’ top 10
performances:
Emma Ashe: third place.
Macy Dupriest: fourth place.
MadaLynn Murray: eighth place
Raelynn Wood: 10th place.
Boys top 10 performances:
Landon Hughes: fifth place.
