Davenport repeats as champ

    Chatuge Shores Golf Course held its members’ only 2019 club championship Oct. 12-13. with 36 holes for two divisions. The Championship Flight was played from the blue tees and the Senior Championship was played from the gold tees each in accordance with all United States Golf Association rules.

      Marvin Davenport won the championship for the sixth consecutive year carding a two-day total of 150, shooting even par 72 on day one and 78 in round two. The runner up was Matt Rogers with a 164. The Senior Championship was won for the second consecutive year by Skip Goley with a two day total of 146. Goley carded a 73 on both days to win the title by eight shots over Steve Crayton who shot a two day total of 154.
