Hayesville High School and Middle School competed at the Swain County meet held on Sept. 17. Hayesville’s High School girls team took second place in the 5000 meter team score, with the boys grabbing third place. In individual times Cannon Brewer came in 13th place and Kaysen Krieger came in 14th place.
Hayesville Middle School boys had a team finish in the 5000 meter run with Jackson Dye finishing sixth place in individual. The middle school girls took fourth place in team scores with Sydney Greenston coming past the finish line in eighth. Event finish names and times are as follows:
