The JV Lady Jackets played an intense game Thursday, Oct. 10 starting out strong, but losing the momentum to give the Lady Bulldogs a 25-19 win for the first set.
Hayesville bounced back in the second set taking a 25-22 win. Going into the third was a constant battle back and forth only for the Bulldogs to pull away and win the set 16-14. With the 2-1 match loss for the lady Jackets, they were preparing for their Smoky Mountain Conference championship match on Monday, Oct. 14 when they won against Andrews 25-12 and 25-10 in Cherokee.
The JV Jackets win secures them a spot in the final game Thursday, Oct. 17 again at Cherokee vs. the only team to beat them this season, the lady Bulldogs.
