Hayesville’s varsity soccer Lady Jacket team fell to Blue Ridge Early College 3-1 in Cashiers on April 28.
Cecilia Jones scored the lone point on a penalty kick for the Jackets.
“Each game we get to see our team grow in many ways. We played more physical this game which was good. I continue to be proud of how we are improving,” said coach Amanda Thompson.
Hayesville will host Swain on Monday, May 2, results will be reported in next week’s sports section. On Thursday, May 5, the Jackets will travel to Highlands followed by a game on Monday, May 9, when they will travel to Cherokee to take on the Lady Braves.
