On Friday, March 7 the Hayesville High School Boys Track Team competed at the WNC Kickoff Invitational at Western Carolina University. Their final score was 25 putting them in 11th out of 17th place.
This is a compilation of the scores:
100-meter dash: Daniel Allen, 25th place with a time of 12.13; Trey Graves, 27th place with a time of 12.21; Jacob Alison, 36th place with a time of 12.51.
200-meter dash: Elio Murillo, 4th place with a time of 23.87; Kenyon Rogers-Gibby, 8th place with a time of 24.09; Jack Dorsey, 14th place with a time of 24.73.
400-meter dash: Kaden Ledford, 18th place with a time of 58.71, Nick Wilson, 19th place with a time of 58.78; Logan Cummins, 21st place with a time of 59.58
800-meter run: Carter Whitefield, 19th place with a time of 2:24.35; Jackson Dye, 20th place with a time of 2:24.82; Logan Cummins, 37th place with a time of 2:39.76.
