    The Smoky Mountain Conference wrestling tournament was held at Robbinsville on  Saturday, Jan. 21.  As a team, Hayesville defeated Andrews and Cherokee.

    Amyna Denton, Lillie Denton and Riley Denton have all qualified for Women's Regionals and the first women from Hayesville to go to regionals.

    Results:

    • Gage Michael, 145 pound weight class, second.

    • Amyna Denton, 120 pound weight class, third.

    • Lilli Denton, 126 pound weight class, fourth.

    • Riley Denton, 132 pound weight class, third.

    • Andrew Reynolds, 160 pound weight class, third.
