Hayesville Middle School girls takes a loss against the Robbinsville Middle School girls with a final score of 14-2 on Monday, May 1.
Jasmine Brooks kicked things off in the pitcher’s circle for the HMS Lady Jackets. The pitcher pitched seven innings, striking out three and walking one. The Black Knight Ladies pitcher lasted seven innings, striking out ten and walking zero.
Hayesville Middle School Lady Jackets team surrendered 14 runs on 15 hits over the seven innings. The Lady Knights, as a team, allowed five hits and two runs over the seven innings.
An offensive highlight for the game was Lady Jacket Danielle Anderson, leading the Hayesville Middle School Girls with two hits in three at bats.
Anderson’s hits knocked in the two runs each time for the Lady Jackets.
