The Hayesville Middle School Lady Yellow Jackets traveled to Hiwassee Dam/Ranger on Thursday, March 28. The Lady Jackets were set to play HDR on Tuesday, March 26 but mother nature had other plans as that game was rained out.
The Lady Jackets fought hard against HDR on Thursday with MaKenna Moss getting on base for Richyah Jackson to bring her home, scoring the first run of the game. McClure was able to get a hit and scored from stolen bases. The Lady Jackets fought hard and never gave up but ultimately could not contain them. Jackson and Bree Wade helped contribute to the team by earning a base on walks and ended up scoring 2 more runs to make the final 14-4, HDR.
The Lady Jackets host the Lady Braves at home at 4 p.m. Thursday April 4. Come out and support our HMS teams.
