On Monday, March 24, the Hayesville Middle School Girl's Track team competed at Murphy and won with a score of 109.50
Individual results are:
High jump: Ellie Black, second place, 4 feet 2 inches; Leah Black, fourth place, 4 feet 2 inches.
Long Jump: Lucy Trout, second place, 13 feet 4 inches; Ellie Brown, third place, 11 feet 1.25 inches; Ellie Black, 5th place, 10 feet 8.75 inches.
Triple jump: Lucy Trout, first place, 30 feet 6.75 inches; Ellie Brown, fourth place, 25 feet 4.40 inches.
Discus throw: Harper Ledford, first place, 71 feet; Alaina Crawford, second place, 62 feet 5 inches; Bree Wade, fourth place, 50 feet 5 inches.
Shot put: Candance King, first place, 23 feet 4 inches; Bree Wade, second place, 22 feet 10 inches.
