HMS wins again

The cross country teams from Hayesville Middle School have had a strong season. On Tuesday, Oct. 8 Hayesville runners journeyed to Robbinsville to compete with Smoky Mountain Conference foes. Once again the Lady Jackets stood atop the podium with a victory. The Yellow Jackets had a strong performance, finishing fifth in the boys’ event.

TOP 10 FINISHERS:

Emma Ashe: third place.

Macy Dupriest: seventh place.

The teams travelled to Cherokee for the SMC championships Wednesday, Oct. 16. Results were unknown at press time.
