Hayesville’s JV girls continued to sizzle in scoring two big conference victories last week, trimming Robbinsville on Tuesday and taking down Andrews three nights later.
“We are really coming together as a team and are working hard to finish and win games,” Hayesville Coach Meghan McQuade said.

The Lady Jackets seized the upper hand early, vaulting to an 11-4 first-quarter lead on the strength of 8 points from Jasmine Brooks, who sat out the rest of the game so she could play in the varsity game.
Kadence Morrow scored 6 points, while Olivia Free, Danielle Anderson and Lilly Dockery tossed in 3 apiece. Ava Moore and Kayla Brown rounded out the scoring with 2 each.

Morrow lit Robbinsville up with four three-pointers on the way to a 14-point night.
Moore also played like a champ, contributing 6 points and five offensive rebounds. Brown kicked in 4 points and cleared three offensive rebounds.
Aaliyah Jackson tossed in 3 points, while Anderson added a bucket and two offensive rebounds.
