    Cherokee’s JV is big and fast, but
    Hayesville’s JV’s were bigger, faster
    and better Thursday night on the Braves gridiron.

    Hayesville improved to 1-1 with a convincing 25-8 victory that featured dominance at the line of scrimmage that allowed speedsters Carson Finn, Brett Hanna, Luke Buckner and bullish fullback Caden McClure to tear up the real estate.

    All four scored touchdowns. Hanna added an extra point. 

    The defense also showed out. The line and linebackers repeatedly stuffed Cherokee runs and Ethan Beechum and Bentley Everette had interceptions.

    Next up: The JV Jackets will be tested by a visit from Murphy at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4.
