On Friday, March 7 the Hayesville High School Girls Track Team competed at the WNC Kickoff Invitational at Western Carolina University. Their final score was 42 putting them in 8th out of 17th place.
This is a compilation of the scores:
100-meter dash: Aaliyah Jackson, 27th place with a time of 14.70; Kaydence Morrow, 31st place with a time of 15.05.
200-meter dash: Kylah Eller, 11th place with a time of 29.36; Aaliyah Jackson, 26th place with a time of 31.90; Kaydence Morrow, 29th place with a time of 32.10.
400-meter dash: Ava Shook, third place with a time of 1:02.85; Micalynn McClure, eighth place with a time of 1:06.66; Alexis Fields, 25th place with a time of 1:17.85.
800-meter run: Raelynn Wood, 10th place with a time of 2:51.77; Madison Graves, 23rd place with a time of 3:04.38; Libbie Moore, 34th place with a time of 3:21.79.
3200-meter run: Sydney Greenstone, second place with a time of 11:28.60; Raelynn Wood, fifth place with a time of 13:32.95.
100-meter hurdles: Briley Clampitt, sixth place with a time of 19.33; Khylei Alberta, eighth place with a time of 19.81.
300-meter hurdles: Marlo Joyce, 13th place with a time of 1:01.08; Khylei Alberta, 18th place with a time of 1:03.74.
4x100 meter relay: Team one, third place with a time of 54.88; team two, 10th place with a time of 57.50.
4x200 meter relay: Team one, 12th place with a time of 2:08.17.
4x400 meter relay: Team one, ninth place with a time of 4:53.74; team two, 10th place with a time of 4:58.68.

High jump: Ava Shook, fourth place with 4 feet 8 inches.
Triple jump: Micaylnn McClure, seventh place with 30 feet 9.5 inches.

Shot put: Madalynn Nemkovich, 21st place with 24 feet 6 inches; Jasmine Brooks, 22nd place with 23 feet 7.5 inches.
