    Hayesville’s varsity Lady Jackets traveled to Bulldog country on Tuesday, May 3, for a conference showdown that didn’t go well for Hayesville. The Lady Bulldogs outscored Hayesville 7-1.

    Hayesville has a season 4-9 overall record and 2-9 conference record following the conference loss in Murphy.

    On Thursday, May 5 the Lady Jackets hosted Murphy in a rematch game, falling short in a close 9-7 contest. The HHS varsity ladies hold sixth place in the conference, with a 2-10 conference record.

    Lady Jacket Gracelynn Anderson made a great play during the game, hitting a home run over the fence, bringing  teammate Faith Odell home. The play brought fans and players to their feet in celebration.
