Varsity cross country runners from Hayesville High School made the trip to Robbinsville Tuesday, Oct. 8 for the Currahee Classic. Eight men’s teams and seven women’s teams lined up for the event and Hayesville’s teams showed off. The Lady Jackets topped the charts with the win and the Yellow Jackets made it a podium sweep with a third place finish. Kaysen Krieger and Jackson Burch continued their run as top finishers for their teams with Krieger finishing third in the women’s race and Burch taking fourth in the men’s event.
