Middle school boys fall to Bulldogs in conference battle

    Hayesville’s Middle School boys baseball team traveled to Murphy on Thursday and lost the conference battle to the Bulldogs 16-8.

    Scoring runs for the Jackets were Rob Barter, 2 runs; Peyton McGaha , 1 run; Will Brown, 1 run; 25, 2 runs; Brady Reynolds, 1 run; and Moss, 1 run.

    Pitching for the Jackets was Jackson Sellers striking out 2 out of 16 Bulldog batters; McGaha, four out of 14 batters and Reynolds, 3 out of 15 batters.
