    The 33 members of the Mountain Harbor Ladies Golf Association have enjoyed a season of 18 games, beginning May 5 and culminating in the League Championship (low gross) and President’s Cup (low net) tournament. This was a two day tournament held Aug. 25 and Sept. 1.

    League Champion with a two-day gross score of 193 is Martha Zimmer. Winner of the President’s Cup with a two-day net score of 155 is Jean Sullivan. Overall results for the first flight are first place Alison Taylor and second place Karen Mussoline. For the second flight, Pat Westbrook placed first and Paula Stratton took second. In the third flight, Gloria White took first place and Sidney Moser second. Congratulations to the winners.

    Marguerite Wilson had an eagle on Aug. 11, during league play, on hole #4, aka the canyon hole. This is quite a feat, especially on this difficult hole. Congratulations, Marguerite.

    The league will have a year-end luncheon and awards presentation after golf on Sept. 29. That marks the official end of the season for 2022 but play will continue into October at 10 a.m. on Thursdays.

    The Mountain Harbor Ladies Golf Association plays every Thursday at Mountain Harbor Golf Course, 1665 Mountain Harbor Drive, in Hayesville.
