Young Harris College Director of Golf Eric Quinnhas released the fall portion of the 2021-22 men's and women's golf schedules.

"Obviously topping our performance from last year will be tough," said Quinn about the men's golf team, which is ranked 20th in the preseason Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll. "I believe that even with the loss of such essential players as Peter (Chung), John (Lichtenwalner) and Tobias (Jonsson), with our new additions - seven freshmen - and our returning members from last year's PBC winning team, I think we will pick up right where we left off. Though we might not be as explosive as last year, I believe that we will be a much more complete team due to the depth and competitiveness during qualifying and practice.

"I am excited to see what the Mountain Lions can do this year," said Quinn about the women's squad. "With a lot of returning talent from our four seniors and one sophomore, and the addition of Connor Johnson from Dalton, Georgia. I think we will be much more competitive this year at every event. Our main focus going into our first event will be to cleanup our golf rounds and eliminate some of the large mistakes that plagued us as a team last year."
