A perfect day on the golf course

Tuesday was just about a perfect day for golf, with temperatures in the low 80’s and intermittent clouds. We had a fun game of randomly drawing “Blind Partners” after the round. The winners of the first flight were Claudia Rinaldo and Barbara McConnell; and Loretta Hughes and Mary Mott finished second. The second flight winners were Linda Miles and Hughes with Holly Cox and Debbie Estes coming in second. Rinaldo and Miles had low putts. Estes had a chip-in on hole No. 4, and Barbara McConnell had a chip-in birdie on hole No. 13. A lot of good golf shots were made and a lot of pay-out winners this week. It was another challenging day on the course, which recalls an interesting quote from an unnamed golfer, “It’s not about being better than someone else.
