By way of introduction, the Four-Square Community Action Inc. organization was launched in 1964 as a non-profit organization (501-C3) with a vision to help low-income individuals and families turn their hopes into reality by offering the support, advocacy, services and resources needed to attain a higher quality of life and to become self-sufficient. Services include Head Start Early Childhood Education, HUD Section Eight rental support, multiple housing repair programs for low-income residents, food delivery, transportation assistance, health service support, utility assistance and other urgent needs. We served over 10,000 client cases in Cherokee, Clay, Graham and Swain counties this past year.

Four Square relies heavily on the generosity of individuals and companies in the community to help families and individuals meet basic needs. For further information about our various programs visit our website: http://foursquarecommunityactioninc.com/.
