Once again, Hayesville High School's cross country program has proven to be one of the toughest in the state. Riding a wave of momentum, both the men's and women's teams picked up victories in Cherokee Tuesday, Nov. 24.
The wins improved both teams record to 2-0 on the season. Also staying undefeated was senior Ryelan Snowden who picked up his second overall win in 2020 with a time of 18:22. Caroline Burch's time of 23:11 led the Lady Jackets and was second overall.

Next up for the Jackets will be a home meet on Wednesday, Dec. 9. The high school portion of the event is scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
