Jala Stamey, who is the youngest member of the VFW-Post 6812 Axillary and 2021 graduate and former golfer at HHS has won her first college golf tournament. Jala is a sophomore at Truett McConnell University.
The two day tournament was held at Chattahoochee Golf Club and was made up of a talented field of 54 competitors. Her team came in second place and the Lady Bears will be heading to Nashville, Tenn. for their next tournament.
