On Wednesday, April 30 the Hayesville track team competed in the Smoky Mountain Conference Outdoor Championships 2025. Both teams fared well both come in second place. The men's team has 137 and the women's team has 129.
• 100 meter dash - Kylah Eller, third place, 13.42; LaRiyah Carr, sixth place, 13.91; Elio Murrillo, third place, 11.21; Trey Graves, fourth place, 11.50 and Kenyon Rogers-Gibby, fifth place, 11.52.
• 200 meter dash: Eller, third place, 28.56; Murillo, third place, 23.38; Rogers-Gibby, 24.31
• 400 meter dash: Ava Shook, first place, 1:01.67; Micalynn McClure, fourth place, 1:06.33 and Libbie Moore, sixth place, 1:08.43.
• 800 meter run: Savannah Burch, third place, 2:33.45 and Jackson Dye, fourth place, 2:11.24.
• 1,600 meter run: Sydney Greenstone, third place, 5:54.35; and Noah Carter, sixth place, 5:06.96.
• 3,200 meter run: Greenstone, fourth place, 13:51.57 and Raelynn Wood, fifth place, 13:55.21.
• 100 meter hurdles: Briley Clampitt, third place, 18.51 and Khylei Alberta, fifth place, 19.54.
• 110 meter hurdles: Jack Dorsey, second place, 17.21 and Cooper Matheson, fifth place, 20.47.

• Long jump: Matheson, second place, 19 feet 3 inches and Johan Webb, sixth place, 17 feet 6 inches.
• Triple jump: McClure, fourth place, 30 feet 4.25 inches and Matheson, third place, 39 feet 2 inches.
• Discus: Landon Trout, fifth place, 127 feet 11 inches and E.J. Mapasua, sixth place, 124 feet 4 inches.
• Shot put: Will Brown, third place, 46 feet 10 inches and Mapasua, fourth place, 43 feet 9 inches.
