Volleyball gets fifth win of season

    The Lady Yellow Jackets were at home Tuesday, Sept. 28 to face the Lady Hawks of Nantahala .The games moved along very quickly as it was quite evident that the Hawks were no match for the talented squad of coach Tammy Dills. Hayesville won in straight games for their fifth victory of the season.

    The second game of the week came on Thursday, Sept. 30 at Andrews High and did not go as well. The Lady Wildcats handed the Hayesville their eighth loss of the season. In the earlier meeting of these two teams, the Lady Jackets came out victorious with a 3-1 win. In this latest matchup,  Andrews returned the favor with a 3-1 victory.

    Hayesville will be hosting Swain County at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7.
