WGOLF | Rich's career day leads Mountain Lions at LeeAnn Noble Memorial

Young Harris College junior golfer Peyton Rich had a career day at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial hosted by the University of North Georgia Monday (Oct. 11) afternoon.

INSIDE THE SCORECARDS:

  • The tournament is being played on the par 72, 5,934-yard layout at the Achasta Golf Club.
  • The Mountain Lions are in 18th place after two rounds of the tournament with a 654 score. The Mountain Lions carded rounds of 328 in the morning followed by a 326 in the second round.
  • Limestone University leads the tournament with a 36-hole score of 563.
  • Rich tied her career best with a round of 75 in the morning before shooting an even-par 72 in the second round to establish her career low score. She had three birdies in her afternoon round. She is tied for 23rd place overall with a 147 score.
  • Emma Andersson is tied for 79th place at 160 after scorecards of 82 and 78, while Erica Andersson is in 89th at 171 with rounds of 83 and 88.
  • Connor Johnson post back-to-back rounds of 88 and is tied for 90th at 176, while Sarah Comer had scores of 116 and 115 and is in 93rd with a 231 tally.
  • The 54-hole tournament concludes Tuesday (Oct. 12) morning.
