    Hayesville Youth Wrestling had their first North Carolina tournament this past weekend. They joined the High Country Youth League at the Young Falcon Challenge at West Henderson High School in Hendersonville, N.C.

    All of our athletes had a great time, learned a lot and grew in the sport. A few highlights from the half-day tournament include four first place and three second place winners in the rookie division.

    Four of those wrestlers went on to take first place in the experienced division, including second-grader Caycen Hill and third-grader Keedryn Neer.
