Staff Report   The ballot recount in the NC Supreme Court Associate Justice race between Republican candidate Jefferson G. Griffin and Democratic Party candidate Allison Riggs has yet to be finalized.

Recount ordered in N.C. Supreme Court contest

By Patrick Gannon N.C. Board of Elections   Election officials across North Carolina including Clay County will conduct a statewide, machine recount of the ballots in the Supreme Court associate justice contest, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 20, according to the N.C. Board of Elections.
