An evening of Appalachian tales at the Peacock

By Lily Ponitz Guest Writer   Local storytellers, musicians and performers take the stage next weekend at the Peacock to celebrate Appalachian performing arts. The acts range from folk singing to Celtic storytelling and everything in between.
Historic Hayesville Inc. Board member Mil Puglisi and Friends of Historic Hayesville volunteer Paula Walters joined HHI Board member Marie Thompson for their presentation of $10,000 to Peacock Board member Virginia Mattox, Contractor Steven Ethridge and Peacock Board member Steve Massell to support renovation of the theater’s restrooms.
