COVID numbers continue to rise

Many people do not realize there’s a place in Clay County where many boys and girls have made summer camp memories for almost 70 years. Local children, as well as those from miles away have enjoyed their time at the Truett Camp with activities like swimming, singing, hiking and learning about Jesus.

FDA Approves Pfizer Vaccine for Those 16 and Older

The Food and Drug Administration has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, which will Pfizer is calling Comirnaty, for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older.

The Murphy Art Center (MAC) in historic downtown Murphy is offering a host of classes this fall. Run by the Valley River Arts Guild, a non-profit organization, the gallery was created to support local artists and promote art in the community.
