Hacking will be extreme in the Metaverse

If you’ve been on Facebook for any amount of time, chances are that you have either been targeted by or fell victim to scammers.  In 2021, the Federal Trade Commission released a report that stated more than 95,000 reported falling for social media scams, totaling around $770 million in losses.

Crypto mining put on hold in Clay County

Clay County Commissioners adopted a temporary moratorium on crypto mining after a public hearing last week. The move will prevent those kinds of businesses from operating here for a least 61 days, but the moratorium could continue through Aug. 5 before coming back for review.

The jersey will take it’s rightful place in the showcase along with the other retired jerseys and school trophies.

Zach Cottrell, 2-time HHS Athlete of the Year No. 34 jersey retired

On Friday, Jan. 28 during games against Murphy, a special honor was given to Zach Cottrell, son of Michael and Jenny Cottrell in retiring his No. 34 jersey. Cottrell was a member of the Yellow Jackets basketball team from 2013-16.
