Poor Design Ideas for Your Home

After I think I’ve seen it all, more strange ideas surface in the latest home, housekeeping, and DIY magazines. As I read these, I wonder what planet the designers are on. Here are some examples. In one national magazine, they predict how our homes will change in the future.

Seeing Jesus for who He is

Jesus has been sharing scripture with his companions on the Emmaus Road and they have reached their destination.  As they turned to go into the house, Jesus continued on.  They turned and yelled to him.  ‘The day is practically over, come and stay with us.

Why you should consider dog obedience training

It makes you feel good when you go out in public and your dog is trained. Training helps to keep your dog from getting bored, Training helps to strengthen the bond between dog and owner. If you plan to keep your dog for its lifetime how much happier that time will be if your dog is trained.

Do you need backup power for your home?

There are lots of reasons we lose power to our home. Equipment or vehicles running into power lines; transformers being hit by lightning; high winds finding the weak link in the transmission network, digging in the wrong place and storms overpowering the electrical grid.

Japanese beetles begin laying their eggs in June

Japanese beetles, either you don’t have them and so don’t know much about them or you have them and are driven crazy every spring. I’m officially in full crazy mode come June.  Japanese beetles are an invasive species. Adult females lay eggs in the ground in June.
