By Gary Corsair Sports Writer   Hayesville repeated as Smoky Mountain Conference Baseball Champion by blasting Murphy, 17-5, Tuesday. The stragulating smack down gave the Yellow Jackets a sparkling 11-0 conference record and top billing over Swain County (10-2).

Track teams come in second at championship meet

By Norashae Patterson Sports Writer    On Wednesday, April 30 the Hayesville track team competed in the Smoky Mountain Conference Outdoor Championships 2025. Both teams fared well both come in second place. The men's team has 137 and the women's team has 129.

High school golf team finish fifth in conference tournament

By Norashae Patterson Sports Writer   Overall, the Hayesville golf team had a great season. The Jackets had three golfers returning from the 2024 season: Connor Pullum, Peyton Owens and Wyatt James. We added three freshmen to our team: Ephraim Jones, Byron Engelmann and Wes Jennings.
