Faculty wins powder puff

By Norashae Patterson Sports Writer   On Monday, March 31, the Hayesville High School Swarm Club hosted a powder puff volleyball tournament. The games were played first to 25. In the first game, it was the seniors vs. the freshman. The seniors blew it out of the park with a win of 25 to 6.

Eagles too much for Lady Jackets

By Gary Corsair Sports Writer   Too many whiffs and not enough hits spelled double trouble for Hayesville’s girls softball team last week. Hiwassee Dam pitchers allowed just three hits as the Eagles handily swept Hayesville, 16-3 on Tuesday and 11-1 on Friday.
