Lady Yellow Jacket wrestlers sport winning records

By Daniel Sherlin Guest Writer   On Friday, Dec. 8 Hayesville Schools hosted for the first time a Women's Wrestling Sanctioned NCHSAA duel against the Swains Women's Wrestling team. Three girls from Hayesville were involved in this wrestling duel. Amyna Denton in the 120 pound weight class.

Jacket wrestling team wins tournaments

HMS Lady Jackets enjoy week’s wins

By Kelce Oliver Sports Writer   Hayesville Middle School Lady Jackets basketball team began the week hosting the Andrews Wildcats for an intense, exciting game. The Lady Jackets held the lead through the first half of the game, going into half time ahead by 4, 11-16.
