Golf association officially ends season

Jeremy Cross and Logan Russell were the first place winners  in the first Hayesville Clay Masonic  Lodge  301 A.F. & A.M. Fishing Tournament. With a field of more than 20 boats, first place was taken with a total weight of 18.64 pounds of fish.

Nichols is top angler in bass club tournament

Tommy Nichols claimed first place and Butch Hooper caught the big fish with a 3.62 pounder during Hiawassee River Bass Club October tournament on Lake Nottley. Here's how the top anglers fared: • First place: Tommy Nichols, five fish, 13.15 pounds. • Second place: Luke  Barrett, five fish, 12.

Upset of the season slips away at Robbinsville

By Gary Corsair Sports Writer   Victory was within reach at Robbinsville Friday, but Hayesville didn’t answer when opportunity knocked, not once, but twice in the final 7:15 of a Smoky Mountain Conference battle royale Robbinsville led 26-20.

JVs end stellar season

By Kelce Oliver Correspondent   This year the Hayesville JV Volleyball team set out on a mission and on Wednesday, Oct. 18 they finished the mission. These young ladies went 16-2 in overall this season and 10-0 in Smoky Mountain Conference.
