Hayesville and Cherokee face off in intense game

By Callie Long Sports Writer    On Thursday, Sept. 25 the Hayesville volleyball team faced off against Cherokee in an intense and exciting match. Both teams came ready to compete, showing strong skills and determination throughout the game.

Golf league has a play date

Article Submitted   Tuesday, Sept. 23 was a beautiful “promise of fall” day. The weather was perfect to be outside and enjoy a fun time with golf friends. The winners of the Stableford format were Glenda Geddings in first place, Martha Zimmer in second place and Judy Aube in third place.

Thousands raised for scholarships

By Kathy Edwards Rarey Guest Writer   The 6th annual Bethel-Guidry Golf Tournament raised $27,000 for college scholarships. Scholarships are available to graduating seniors in Clay and Towns counties with applications available through guidance counselors’ offices.
