Big fireworks show on tap

On Tuesday, July Fourth fireworks will be enjoyed at the Clay County Rec Park at Lake Chatuge. Gates open at 6 p.m. Fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.  Food and drinks available. Evening events sponsored by Clay County government

Fourth of July parade and Freedom Festival

By Laura Kleiss Hoeft Chamber Director   The Freedom Festival will take place in the Historical Courthouse Square 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. The music for the festival will be provided by Ron Harrell. Harrell, a resident of Clay County, grew up in middle Georgia.
